Our vision
SDA is the most important expert and partner to all stakeholders of corporate governance in Slovenia and internationally visible and active organisation.
SDA has cooperated with many international institutions for a number of years, searching for contacts primarily in the EU. It informs them of its activities and diseminate good practice of Slovenian standards in corporate governance and supervisory boards.
ecoDa – European Confederation of Directors' Association
The European Confederation of Directors' Association (ecoDa) is a not-for-profit association founded in December 2004 under the laws of Belgium.
Through its national institutes of directors (the main national institutes existing in Europe), ecoDa represents around 55,000 board directors from across the EU. ecoDa's member organisations represent board directors from the largest public companies to the smallest private firms, both listed and unlisted.
IFC - Corporate Governance Group
IFC - Corporate Governance Group brings together staff from investment support and advisory operations into a single, global team.
This unified team advises on all aspects of corporate governance and offers targeted client services in areas such as increasing board effectiveness, improving the control environment, and family businesses governance. The Group also helps support corporate governance improvements and reform efforts in emerging markets and developing countries, while leveraging and integrating knowledge tools, expertise, and networks at the global and regional levels.
The European Corporate Governance Codes Network
The European Corporate Governance Codes Network is an informal network that exists primarily to share privately views, experiences and good practice on issues relating to the corporate governance of listed companies.
In addition, the Network shares factual information on the content and implementation of national corporate governance codes with European authorities and other interested parties. The purpose of this website is to provide links to those codes and to reports on how they have been applied.
ECGI – European Corporate Governance Institute
ECGI – European Corporate Governance Institute is an international scientific non-profit association providing a forum for debate and dialogue between academics, legislators and practitioners, focusing on major corporate governance issues.
Its primary role is to undertake, commission and disseminate leading research on corporate governance. Based upon impartial and objective research and the collective knowledge and wisdom of our members, it can advise on the formulation of corporate governance policy and development of best practice and undertake any other activity that will improve understanding and exercise of corporate governance.
Global Network of Director Institutes (GNDI)
Global Network of Director Institutes (GNDI)is an international collaboration that shares expertise in directorship and corporate governance. GNDI collectively represents more than 100,000 individual directors and governance professionals. They assist directors worldwide to stay abreast of emerging governance issues and they collaborate to strengthen the voice of directors in advocating for good governance policies and practices. GNDI focus on the shared issues of interest to governance stakeholders around the world.
